Robin Lamott was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1960. His family moved to Sydney, Australia in 1969. He began composing at the age of 14 and studied piano and theory at Gallaghers School Of Music in Parramatta, Sydney from 1972 until 1976. Later he studied composition under Edwin Carr at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In 1984 he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Composition. He wrote almost exclusively for the piano and his original romantic classical style has become widely recognized and respected by teachers and students throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2009 the composer returned back to his homeland of Croatia where he still currently lives.
The piano scores available here have been edited by the composer and are from his Romantic series volumes two and three.
